Anne Michaud, 92, 0f Embden, passed away on March 15, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.

Anne was born on January 8, 1925 in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada a daughter of Denis and Annie (St. Onge) Bernier. She attended local schools and later graduated from nursing school in 1950.

She met the love of her life, Albenie A. Michaud in 1947 and they were married on April 10, 1951 and shared nearly 66 years together , living in New Britian , Connecticut and Maine.

Anne worked for many years as a registered nurse, she was also a teacher in a 1 room schools house, teaching grades 1 thru 8, Anne worked in a bank for several years but should be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and good friend.

She enjoyed roses, the rosary,music, crocheting, knitting, jewelry, watching television detective shows  and shopping. She especially loved to be with her family. 

Anne was predeceased by both of her Parents, three young siblings and a sister Isabelle.

She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 66 years, Albenie Michaud. By her children, Linda Gittleman, Barbara Vandermark, Paul Michaud, Robert Michaud and Gerald Michaud.

Anne leaves behind her siblings,David Bernier, Roland Bernier, Roger Bernier, Theresa Raymond, Yvonne Aubut, Adrienne Dubois, and, Louise Bernatos. As well as eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and several good friends.

 Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Giberson Funeral Home 18 River Street, Bingham. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Owens Street, Bingham. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in the Spring.
