Dianna Mary DuBois Parker LaBrie, 92, passed away November 25, 2016 at Oak Grove Nursing Care in Waterville.

 

Dianna was born to Felix and Alvina DuBois in Madison on May 10, 1924.Our mom loved her home town of Madison and only moved a few years ago, because of her health.

 

Dianna was an active member of The Daughters of Isabella and a life member of The Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 7865, Madison. Dianna was a true patriot and was extremely active in the VFW. She held every office in the Post. Dianna could be seen at the Post several days a week. If there was a need she was their to organize it, work on the project and make sure the Veterans received the honers they deserved. You could see her at the Bingo games, suppers, lunches served to the Veterans visiting from Togus and traveling to Togus to bring need baskets.

 

Dianna was predeceased by her parents, her husbands Erwin Parker and Real LaBrie. Brothers Willfred DuBois, Rene DuBois, Dennis DuBois and a sister Emma Berry.

 

Dianna is survived by her and Erwins three children Richard Parker and wife Barbara of New Portland, Emily Parker Poulin and her husband Richard of F airfield Center and Cammy Parker Nichols and her husband Bernard of Embden and Florida. Brother Donald DuBois and wife Gail of Madison. Grandchildren Heidi Parker of Virginia, Serena Poland of Levant, Joel Parker of Readfield and Josh Parker of Winsor, Denise Robinson of Clinton, Kathy Poulin of F airfield, Dean Frost of Lewiston, Scott Nichols of New Hampshire and Liza Nichols Frost of Monmouth. Twenty Great Grandchildren and Four Great Great Grandchildren.

 

The` family would like to thank the staff at Oak Grove Nursing Home for the kindness they shared with Meme and our family.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. On Friday December 2, 2016 at St. Sebastian's Catholic Church Main Street Madison. Burial will follow in St. Sebastian's Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Giberson Funeral Home, Madison. www.gibersonfuneralhome.com
