Bangor and North Anson-

Dianne M. (Howell) Swett, 65, of Bangor and North Anson, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

She was born on January 10, 1952 in Augusta to Charles A. and Phyllis E. (Haskell) Howell. Dianne graduated from Anson Academy.

Dianne had a love for music and singing. She sang in a school group as well as the church choir. She was a firecracker with a zest for life.

Her grandchildren were the light of her life and her dog Maggie was like a baby to her.

Dianne is Predeceased by her husband Ernest Swett, her father Charles A. Howell and her brother Timothy C. “Doc” Howell.

She is survived by her son Robert Nelson of Warren, her mother Phyllis Howell of North Anson, her brother Peter Howell and his wife Karen of Embden, her sister Ellen Howell of North Anson and her grandchildren Emma and Benjamin Nelson.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 02, 2017 at 1:00pm in Sunset Cemetery in North Anson.
