Leslie C. Beane, 76, of Bingham, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, surrounded by his family.

Leslie was born on November 13, 1941 in Concord, a son of Cecil and Eunice (Stevens) Beane. He attended the local schools and graduated from Valley High School , class of 1960. After high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force, proudly serving his country from 1960 to 1964.

After leaving the military, Leslie worked as an artist, traveling throughout the United States,, living in many different places. Leslie returned home to Maine in 2012 to be close to his family and to enjoy his retirement.

He was predeceased by both of his parents and a sister Carol Conroy.

Leslie is survived by his brother Cecil L. Beane Jr. and his wife Joyce , his sister Judith Lombard, a brother in law, Kenton Conroy as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held in the Spring, (date and time to be announced) in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Giberson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Bingham.
