Lorraine I. (White) Wilbur, 94, of Kingfield, passed away in in the early morning hours of Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at her home in Kingfield , with her son and daughter in law by her side.

Lorraine was born on November 2, 1923 in Dorchester, Massachusetts, a daughter of Charles P. and Annie (Higgins) White.

She enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and nature, She loved all animals and liked to feed the deer, raccoon and stray cats.

Lorraine was predeceased by her husband, Erwin Wilbur, both of her parents and her sister Iris Stevens.

She leaves behind her son Larry Wilbur and his wife Carol of Kingfield. Her grandchildren April Thomas, Angela Brant and Christopher Brant, five great grandsons and one great great grandson and her beloved cat.

A graveside service will be held in the Spring in Sunny Side Cemetery in Kingfield, date and time to be announced. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Giberson Funeral Home, Madison
