AUGUSTA- "Lucille I. Beane", 92, Mount Vernon, Maine, formerly of Bingham, Maine, passed away on Jan. 12, 2017, in Augusta, Maine. She was the eldest daughter of Floyd and Mildred Padham.

Lucille was born in Concord Township, Maine in 1924.

She attended Bingham High School where she won numerous skating awards. Following high school, she worked at the Quimby Veneer Company in Bingham, Maine. She married her loving husband Floyd Beane, also of Concord Township in 1945.

Lucille always enjoyed spending time traveling the back roads of Maine with her husband. She also enjoyed playing card games with friends. Later in life, Lucille enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and other word games. She was always a feisty lady.

She is survived by her two sons, Jon of Augusta and James of Newport; granddaughters Rechelle Ventimiglia of Oakland and Wendy Andrews of Mount Vernon; grandsons Loren Brown of CT. and Jon Jr. of Mount Vernon; five great grandchildren Gavin of NC, Nikolas, Sarah, Sophia and Alana all of ME; as well as other beloved nieces; nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Floyd Beane of Mount Vernon; her brother Roger Padham of Concord Township; her brother Reginald Padham of Solon; and her sister Beverly Shaw of Gardiner.

The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the staff of the Augusta Center for Rehabilitation for their dedicated service providing the highest quality care to Lucille in her final years from 2012 to the present. A graveside service will be held in the Spring.
