Michael J. LaRouche, 63, of North Anson, passed away peacefully on the morning of May 2, 2017 after a hard fought battle with lung disease.

Mike was born on January 22, 1954 in Skowhegan, on e of four sons born to Edward and Emma (Creamer) LaRouche .Mike was educated in the local school system. After high school he enlisted in the Army National Guard.

He worked at North Anson Reel and doing construction jobs, later he moved to the coast of Maine to be closer to his brothers. For the past year, Mike has lived with his son Jason and his fiance Valerie Gordon as they tried to provide him comfort and care as he struggled with his disease.

Mike was a huge fan of NASCAR, mud runs, truck pulls and anything that was fast and loud. He claimed to be a grumpy old man with a quick whit and would always speak his mind. Although he was tough on the outside he had a kind heart and enjoyed helping people. He enjoy company and family time.

A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 12:00 noon in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Madison. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Giberson Funeral Home, Madison.
