Mildred "Bunny" Pollis, 95, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday March 28, 2018 at Redington Fairview Hospital in Skowhegan.
She was born on November 28th 1922 the daughter of Millard E. Moore and Sarah Dorcas in Skowhegan, Maine. She graduated from Madison area high school as valedictorian . Class of 1941.
After High School Mildred married the love of her life George Pollis in March of 1943. They were married for 64 years up until his death in 2007. She worked as a note teller at the Madison Depositors Trust which later became Key Bank. She worked there for 30 years. She retired from the bank in 1987.
She enjoyed many summers at their camp in Embden. She loved spending time with her family and telling her children about the adventure of a lifetime when Mildred and George went on a nationwide road trip in their motor home. They spent five Winters in Sebring, Florida.
Mildred and George had two children Dana and Vicky four grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held in Forest Hill Cemetery in the Spring.
