Homemaker, Nancy Michelle Smith (Nadeau) of Milo, died peacefully surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover Foxcroft on Thursday, June 16 at the age of 60.

Nancy was born on Sept. 29, 1955 in Jackman Maine, a daughter of Henry and Lucia (Duquette) Nadeau She was educated at the Convent and also Jackman school.

She greatly enjoyed cooking and spent most of her life caring for her family, always putting everyone else’s needs before hers. Nancy will be best remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Nancy is predeceased by parents Henry and Lucia Nadeau.
 

Nancy is survived by loving husband of 42 years, Larry. She is also survived by her children, Angie and husband Tom with children Thomas and Dylan, Jeryme and wife Joanna and son Taylor, and Kevin and girlfriend Ashlee and daughter Autumn. She is also survived by her brother Daniel and sisters Veronica, Ann Marie and Kathleen. Additionally, she is survived by a new great grandson Jack and many loving Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and multiple other special family and friends that were very dear to Nancy.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on June 24, 2016 at 10 AM. St. Faustina Catholic Church in Jackman, Maine. A reception is to follow at the same location. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Nancy's life. The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff at Mayo for helping make Nancy as comfortable as possible during her brief stay.
