Neal Lee Beane, 48,. of Moscow, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017 at his home in Moscow.

Neal was born in Skowhegan on May 27, 1968 a son of Robert L. and Gloria (Cates) Beane. He was educated in the local schools.

He worked for several years at the Solon Mill and also as an equipment operator and more recently he was employed at North Country Variety store, a job he truly enjoyed.

Neal liked to do puzzles,laugh, tease his friends and family, build things using wood and sometimes deer antlers, he was good with hands. Neal really enjoyed going mudding with his brother in law and spending time with his friends and family.

He was predeceased by his brother Blaine Beane who passed in 2005 as well as his father Robert Beane who passed in 2008.

Neal is survived by his mother Gloria Beane of Moscow, his sister Rachel Gilbert and her husband Richard also of Moscow.

He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Monica Gilbert, Nathan Gilbert and Chantal Beane and great niece Monica Ingersall, great nephews, Blaine Beane and Hunter Ingersall as well as many good friends.

A graveside service will be held in Robinson Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Giberson Funeral Home, Bingham.
