Shirley June Graham
1931 – 2018
NORTH ANSON – Shirley June (Green) Graham, 87, passed away on March 13, 2018 at the Maplecrest Nursing Home in Madison ME. She was born on January 30, 1931 in Oyster Bay, NY to Walter and Florence Ruth (Marsh) Green.
On May 30th, 1948, Shirley married Haskell Carr Graham in Oyster Bay, NY. The two were married for 67 years and had 4 children together.
Shirley and her husband retired and moved to North Anson in 1988. She was a homemaker, loved to knit, garden and enjoyed country living.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband, Haskell (Bud) Carr Graham and son Denis Graham; two sisters, Mari-Ann Wilson and Mardell Asineth: three brothers, Powell Searing, Rodney Provost Green and Donald Alva Green.
She is survived by her sister Enid Landers of Wenham, Mass; her children Douglas Carr Graham of Sound Beach, NY, Ward Haskell Graham and his wife Patti (Quinn) Graham of Washoe Valley, NV, Wendy Pena and her husband Mickey of North Anson, ME, and daughter-in-law Faye Graham of Suisun, CA; nine grandchildren, Tim Johnson, Lisa Gannon, Jason Graham, Melissa Sweeney, Christie Kormoski, Joshua and Taylor Graham, Royce Pena and Ryan Graham; ten great-grandchildren, Stuart, Michael, Erin, Tai, RJ, Whitt, Jordan, Kyree, Mason and Aaron; many nieces and nephews; her neighbors and wonderful friends; and the Keen Family and Larry, without whom she would not have had the quality of life and comfort that she did in her final years.
Friends are asked to join the family for a time of visitation on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Giberson Funeral Home, Madison. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM following the visiting hours. Pastor Bill Mayer officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Giberson Funeral Home, 40 Maple St, Madison. Interment will be later in the Spring at Sunset Cemetery in North Anson.
