Theda E. Lumbert, 94, of Jackman, passed away on July 21, 2016 at Redington Fairview Hospital in Skowhegan, surrounded by her loving family.

Theda was born on October 25, 1921 in Ashland, Maine a daughter of Leonard and Drusilla (Shaw) Mack. She was educated in the local schools and graduated from Island Falls High School.

She moved to Jackman in the early 1940s with her father who worked in the woods. Jackman is where she met and later married Clinton C. Lumbert Sr. and lived out her life there and raised her family.

Theda was a great cook, she liked to sew and enjoyed going to church. Theda will be best remembered as a loving wife, mother and grand mother.

She was predeceased by her husband Clinton C. Lumbert Sr. as well as two brothers, Basil Mack and Harry Mack.

Theda is survived by her three sons, Keith Lumbert and his wife Gaetane of South Portland, Charlie Lumbert and his wife Michelle of Jackman and David Lumbert and his wife Paula of Calias.

She also leaves behind nine grandchildren including her granddaughter Barbara Lumbert who she raised, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and one brother Gary Mack.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 11:00 AM at The Bridge Church of the Nazarene in Jackman, burial will follow the service in Whipple Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Giberson Funeral Home, Bingham.
