Anita M. McClintick

Anita Marie (Gleason) McClintick, 71, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Skowhegan surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on January 18, 1947 in Skowhegan, the daughter of Douglas Gleason and Barbara Branham. She attended school in Solon Maine. She enjoyed her job in Home Health Care for many years. In 1970, she married the love of her life Gerald “Buzz” McClintick.

Anita enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed church, music, working on her puzzle books, and games. She adored her cat Sassy and dog Katie.

She is predeceased by her father Douglas Gleason and her mother Barbara Branham.

Anita is survived by her one true love Gerald “Buzz” McClintick of Bingham. Her Step mother Marion Gleason of Skowhegan. Her daughters, Lisa Cupit of Mercer, Barbara Clark and her fiancé Pete of Bingham and Christine Stoddard and husband Scott of North Anson. Her eight grandchildren, Jennifer Warren and husband Charlie of Mercer, Matthew Clark and fiancé Clarissa of Skowhegan, Alicha Stoddard and significant other Jeff of Bingham, James Clark and significant other Katie of Skowhegan, Kimberly Stoddard and significant other Kris or North Anson, Brittney Clark of Anson, Lacie Sanipas of Bingham and Shania Sanipas of Bingham. Six great-grandchildren Wyatt, Anna, Alyvia, Aubrie, Jordynn and Addisyn. Her sister's Patricia Caswell, her husband Darryl and their son Darryl Jr. of Madison, and Sherri Rosencrantz and her son Brandon of Exeter, New Hampshire. Her brother Donald Gleason and significant other Kim McClain of Exeter, New Hampshire. Her sister in law Geneva Sanipas and her daughter Lisa of New Brunswick, Canada. Her very special friends Carol McManus, Lucy Young and Judy Miller.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:30am in Robinson Memorial Cemetery in Moscow, Maine. A Celebration of Life luncheon will follow at location yet to be announced.
