Moscow:
Bernice Vaillancourt, 89, of Moscow, formally of Bingham, entered into eternal life September 17, 2018 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was the last surviving member of the Voisine family. She was Born March 19, 1929 in Frenchville, a daughter of Honore and Euphemie (Gagnon) Voisine.
She was employed by Allen Quimby Veneer Mill until they closed. Bernice worked various odd jobs for many town folk doing house keeping, painting, wall papering, sewing, crocheting etc. She also worked at North Anson Reel until her retirement.
Bernice was a communicant of St. Peters Catholic Church in Bingham Maine. She was also a member of the Alter Guide.
She will be sadly missed by her loving family and many friends.
Bernice is survived by her loving partner Edmond Mathieu Jr. and her seven children; Danny Vaillancourt of Ocklawaha, Florida, Reno Vaillancourt of Anson, Diane Abbott of Madison, Doreen Morrill of Bingham, Linda Vaillancourt of Skowhegan, Debbie Tibbetts of Dover Foxcroft, and Dudley Vaillancourt of Silver Springs, Florida. She is also survived by her nineteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by three sons; Donald David , and Dale Vaillancourt, and one daughter, Colette Vaillancourt.
Bernice was also predeceased by her mother and father, four brothers and four sisters; Patrick , Albert , Norman , and Willard Voisine. Priscilla Roy, Phobe Lagasse, Anette Corriveau, and Delia Roy. Also by her many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to thank Maine General Home Health, Maine General Hospice Care, as well as the Inland Family Care staff and Doctor April Hertlien.
Visiting hours will be held for Bernice on Thursday September 20, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Giberson Funeral Home on 18 River Street in Bingham, Maine. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 11:00am at St. Peters Catholic Church, Bingham. A burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Cemetery, Moscow.
