Beverly A. (Couture) Garland 70, of Jackman, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family , following a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

Beverly was born on November 15, 1948 in Jackman, a daughter of William and Lena Rose (Morin) Couture. She attended the local schools and graduated from Jackman High School.

She was employed for many years as a teller with Border Trust Bank now known as Skowhegan Savings, she also was a CNA at Jackman Area Health Center and a cook and waitress. For all of the things she did throughout her life she will be best remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Beverly was very proud of her years as a Girl Scout leader, she enjoyed long rides in the car, being outdoors, leaf peeping in the Fall, , watching the deer and flowers.

She was predeceased by her parents, as well as two brothers, Larry and Roger.

Beverly is survived by her husband and one true love Gary Garland of Jackman, they were married on January 3, 1970 , and shared 49 years together. She is also survived by her three children, William Garland and his wife Deann of Illinois, Cheryl Garland of Jackman and Rebecca Garland and her husband Robert LaCombe of Waldoboro, by three sisters, Velma, Paula and Rose Marie and her loving grandchildren, Hope Reyes, James LaCombe, Kaitlyn Garland, Avery Garland and Mattisyn Garland as well as many good friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Moose River Congregational Church, October 13, 2019 at 2:00 PM a luncheon will follow the service.
