Christopher Stafford Anderson 1937–2017,

Christopher Anderson, 79, of Caratunk, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 with his loving family by his side after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Waterville Maine on December 30, 1937 the son of Webster Clark Blanchard and C. Hope (Stafford )Blanchard. He was a loving husband to his wife Carol (Adams) Anderson, they were married on March 7, 1959. He was a loving father to his four children, Cheryl Anderson, Sandra (Anderson) Merkwan, Susan (Linder) Anderson and Russell Anderson. He was a proud grandfather of five grandchildren,Ashley Linder, Christopher Linder, Nathalie Anderson, Kristen Merkwan and Adam Merkwan, 2 great grandchildren, Justin and Ricky. He was a cousin to Steve and Bob Stafford ,he adored his family and his family adored him.

He lived a wholesome life and accomplished many things along the way., He graduated from Northeastern University as an electrical engineer. Christopher work in his field into his early 70s, he was well respected in his field as well as in his community. He joined the Masonic Temple as soon as he came of age, he also volunteered for years at tri-town ambulance service of Pembroke, New Hampshire, always helping those in need.He was a Pembroke resident for over 50 years where he raised his family made many friends and created fond memories.

In closing a few words about Christopher came to mind caring, loving, nurturing, integrity, honest, humble, adventurous, fun loving, creative and competitive he enjoyed natures sunrises sunsets and simple pleasures of life.
