Claude Clayton Dunton, 68, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 05, 2018 at his home in Embden.
He was born in Farmington, Maine on October 15, 1949 the son of Claude Cole Dunton and Mary Elizabeth Jacques. He was educated in local schools. After high school he proudly served in the Army National Gaurd. He served from 1967 to 1973. He worked for many years as a truck driver and as a woodsman until his retirement.
Claude loved the outdoors. He spent his free time hunting and fishing. His family was his pride and joy. He loved spending time with his two grandsons and helping anyone in need.
He is predeceased by his father Claude Cole Dunton.
Claude is survived by his loving wife Deana R. Dunton, his mother Mary Elizabeth Dunton Farley and his step-father Jim Farley, his daughter Darcie Nichols and her husband Shane Nichols, his grandsons Clayton and Patrick Nichols, his twin sister Claudia Viles and sister Sharon Livingston.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Community United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 1:00pm.
