So sorry to hear of your father's passing. I was away , I think, and never saw it in the paper. Just found out tonight. So nice that he was buried in his beloved Maine. I know he will be missed by your family and I send you my deepest sympathies.

I am so sorry for the lost of your Dad...my Uncle Cliff...I truly thought I could join you in celebrating such an awesome man...his wit and kindness will forever live in my heart. My arms are wrapped around my cousins and my tears mingle with yours...Celebrate his life with gusto! The hayrides, those dreaded bats in the barn...so many summer memories! His spirit will be with us always. With heartfelt condolences...Love you!

I feel like I've known Cliff for years through all of Martha's stories, and then just a few years ago I was able to spend some time with him in California. What a pleasure! He was a good man and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this difficult time.

Not mentioned in the obituary was the fact that Cliff worked as a lighting engineer at Gilbert Associates in Reading, PA, in the early 70's. I had the pleasure of sharing an office with Cliff. Condolences to Cliff's family. Stan Stubbe

My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family for your great loss of Clifford. Even when our loved ones seem to have lived a good full life, our time with them always seems to be cut short of our hearts desire. One thing that has helped comfort me is God’s personal interest mentioned at Psalm 147:3, it says “He heals the brokenhearted, He binds up their wounds.” May God’s personal care for you bring you solace and warmly embrace you in this time of deep sorrow! With heartfelt condolences!

I am sorry to hear of Clifford Atwood's passing and wish to send my sympathies to all of his family and friends. I knew him as Bruce's Dad and always thought of my own Dad as Bruce related his Dad's travels back to Maine, gatherings with family, small victories as he recovered from an illness or enjoyed a lunch out and also his struggles with deteriorating health. My thoughts are with you as you celebrate a life and mourn the passing of one so important for so long in all of your lives.

I'm so sorry about your Dad's passing. And I smiled when I saw he would be buried in his beloved Maine. Quiet and methodical, wood and flannel shirts. He will be missed. My thoughts are with you all.
