Darold R. Abbott, 75 of Moscow, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Redington Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan.

Darold was born on October 17, 1943 in Phillips , Maine, a son of James and Verna (Kennedy) Abbott. He was educated in the local schools. He was a hard worker and liked to stay busy.

He enjoyed guns, hunting, being outdoors in nature, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly miss by his family and friends.

He was predeceased by both of his parents, his sister Alice Ballou, his brother, Robert Abbott, and his two sons, Brent and James Abbott, and his step-son, William Hunt.

Darold is survived by his wife, Shirley Abbott, son Brian Abbott, daughter Lisa Abbott, step-daughter Shannon Grim, and several good friends.

There are no services scheduled at this time.
