Dennis Arthur Ogden, 57, of Madison passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Madison.
He was born in Willimantic, Connecticut to Arthur Dennis Ogden and Frances Rawlston. He attended school in the Willimantic and New London school systems.
In the late 1980's Dennis moved to Maine and made it his home. He made a career in carpentry. He was also a skilled roofer and a jack of all trades and master of all. Dennis was a member of The Son's of the American Legion and the VFW in Madison.
Dennis was an all around good hearted person who looked after his family and friends. He was the protector in his family and always went above and beyond for those he loved. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, hunting, golf, bonfires, motorcycles and spending time with family and friends especially his sons and grandson.
He is predeceased by his father Arthur, his mother Frances, and his first grandchild Alex.
Dennis is survived by his two sons Adam Ogden and Dennis Ogden. Grandson Evan, his brother Henry Ogden, his sister's Susan Stump and Sharon Atkinson, his uncle's Karl von Hussen and Richard von Hussen and his “ Irish Twin” uncle Robert von Hussen , his aunt's
Debbie von Hussen and Lila von Hussen, his niece Amanda McManis, his great niece Jessica Craft, his great nephews Mark Burk Jr and Christopher Stump, his special great nephew Michael Steven Heaton, his best friend, Ronald “Tigger” Pinkham, special family friends Donna Atkinson and Steven Atkinson and many more friends.
A graveside service will be held at Sunset View Cemetery in Norridgewock on Saturday, July 07, 2018 at 2:00pm led by Pastor Berry of The Trinity Evangelical Free Church .
