Donald Alfred Dubois

Donald Alfred Dobois, 81, of Madison, passed away at the VA center in Togus on Sunday, January 06, 2019.

He was born on March 22, 1937 in Madison, a son of Felix Dubois and Alvina Mercier. He was educated in the local schools. After high school he proudly joined the United States Marine Corp. He later worked as a machine operator in the paper manufacturing industry.

Donald loved spending time with his family. They were his reason for living. He loved playing golf and teaching the sport to his sons. Shawn was a natural. He was the state champion in high school and was invited join the PGA in Florida. Donald was very proud. He will always be remembered as a kind and loving man who touched many hearts.

He was predeceased by both of his parents and his son Shawn Dubois.

Donald is survived by his wife Gail (Rockwell) Dubois of Madison, his sons, Wesley Dubois and his wife Suzy of Skowhegan and Chris Dubois also of Skowhegan. In addition he leaves behind several nieces, nephews and good friends.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at Forest Hill Cemetery, Park Street in Madison. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Giberson Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
