Eugene “DJ” G. Pray IV, 37, of Lexington, passed on Monday, August 28, 2017 at his home in Lexington, surrounded by his loving family. It was a hard fought and courageous battle with a rare form of brain cancer, he had a never give up, never give in attitude through it all.

DJ was born on February 13, 1980 in Farmington the son of Eugene and Patricia (Runyon) Pray. He graduated from Carrabec high School the class of 1998. After high school he enlisted in the United States Marines. Returning home to Lexington, he worked for Irby Construction for several years and most recently was the dock coordinator at Poland Springs in Kingfield.

Dj had a real zest for life, he loved adventure, four wheelers, dog sledding,, outdoor sports and snowmobiling, he didn't care for trail riding, DJ liked to go where no none went before. If it had danger and adventure he was ready for the challenge.

He was a member of the Moose Ally Riders and the Back Country Misfits. DJ had a great sense of humor and was a Prankster, he loved to spend time with his children, friends and family.

DJ is survived by his fiance' Kasey McCarty of Lexington, his three children, Chelse Marie Pray , Eugene “TK” G. Pray V and Jasmyne Rose Pray all of Embden.

He is also survived by his parents, Eugene G. Pray III and Patricia (Runyon) Pray of Lexington and his half sister Hollye Dunphy of North Anson as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins , nieces ,nephews and many good friends.

They only made one DJ Pray and he will be sadly missed.
