Frances Martin Grant, passed away on November 16, 2017 at the age of 89. By her side was her devoted and loving husband of 17 years, Guy Grant Jr.

She was the daughter of Donald and Ferne (Farnham) Sanborn of Stockton Springs, Maine.

Fran graduated from Husson University, an Epsilon Delta Sorority sister. She was also a Daughter of the Revolutionary War.

Mother to Cassandra Drummond (deceased), Gordon Martin, Donald Martin, Bradley and Beth Martin, Michele and Kevin Grant Corkery, stepmother. Grandmother to Gordon Martin Jr., Dylan and Abraham Darienzzo, Samantha and Andrew Martin, Matthew Martin, step grandmother to Kyle and Kevin Corkery.

Fran served with her husband Lloyd Martin (deceased) for 32 years in Christian Ministry in Massachusetts. Their family summered on flagstaff Lake, Maine.

Guy and Fran were married 17 years ago. They summered and ran Tranquility B and B in Stratton, Maine. They wintered in the West Indies before permanently moving to Orono Maine. They served on many committees and multiple organizations.

Fran was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
