Joan Steikorski

Joan Steikorski, 78, of Solon, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on October 24, 1939 the daughter of Joseph Patrick Levesque and

Flora C. Lowell in Providence, RI where she was raised.

After High School Joan was employed as a CNA in Cranston, RI. Later, for many years she worked as a processor for Fleet Bank. After retiring she worked as a home health aid for a short period in Coventry, RI.

Joan loved her family and it showed, she always went out of her way to take care of each one of them as well as everyone that came into her life. She loved flowers, trips to the Bahamas and Florida with her husband. She also occasionally enjoyed trips to the Casino.

She is predeceased by her parents, her sister Mable Lemouriex, her brothers Joseph and Lewis Levesque, her two sons Robert T. Reed and John K. Reed and her son-in-law Alexander Homenick.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Frederick Steikorski, her daughter Wanda Homenick, her grandchildren Nicole Homenick and Angel Gardner and her husband Eric, her great grandchildren Krysta, Oaklun, Thomas, Annabell, Owen and Madeline. As well as several nieces and nephews.
