Laszlo Kakuk, 83, of Anson went to join his beloved wife Lucille and daughter Leslie on Monday, November 6, 2017 as a result of a car accident in Norridegwock.

 

Laszlo was born on October 24, 1934 in Budapest, Hungry , a son of Gaspar and Nag Maria Kakuk.

 

He was a welder by trade and was employed for most of his life at Taunton Engineering until his retirement in 1996 when he moved to Maine to enjoy the better life. He enjoyed working and being busy. He often would work from sun up til sun down and his family would have to ask him to stop for the day.

 

Laszlo enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He loved to be with his family and especially his grandchildren. He was always very healthy and fit, he could run circles around most 30 year olds. He always said that he was sure he would make it to 100.

 

Laszlo is survived by his children Kim Orlando and her husband Richard, Kathleen Rock and her husband Randy, Lynn Kakuk and her fiancee Mike Robinson, Mary DaCosta and her husband Manuel and Laszlo Kakuk Jr. and his wife Lerma. His partner and girlfriend Glennys Savage and her family.

 

He is survived by his grandchildren, Amy Granatowski and her husband Matthew, Robert Jordan and his significant other Debra Zinger, Anthony DaCosta and his significant other Crystal Chamberlain, Tiffany Bellefleur and her husband Brad, Sara Orlando and her fiancee Ryan Frassica, Keri Rock and her wife Julian Ackelbien-Krause, Cullen Rock and his fiancee Kathy Maxwell, Cody Couturier and his girlfriend Sara Mileson, Crystal DaCosta and her significant other Cam King, Kayla Orlando and her significant other Joey Lopes and Evan Couturier.

 

By his great grandchildren, Macy Jordan- Levesque,Ansley, and Breslin Jordan. Kailyn and Lucas Granatowski. Aria and Kia Frassica. Reagan Bellefleur, Carly Jordan and new grandson expected on November 27.

 

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 10:00 AM in St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Madison. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Giberson Funeral Home and Cremation Services , Madison.
