It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts at the passing of Robert Emmet Gordon on Tuesday September 12th 2017.

He was a loving husband of 40 years to Merlene Rose Gordon who recently passed on December 31st 2016. They now rest together in love and peace for this day forward. Bob was a kind-hearted friendly gentle soul who loved and enjoy spending time with family, cooking and eating, telling clean and dirty jokes, games all kinds, feeding birds and the deer, fishing, and the great outdoors. Bob also loved to Tinker on anything with a motor, he could fix anything for anyone in his family be it a lawn mower, a motorcycle, or a snowmobile. He took great pride in getting it to run. Bob was a devoted father, son, brother and friend and will be greatly missed by his surviving family. Daughter Bonnie Pooler and Babe, daughter Vivian Roderick and Danny, daughter Tammy McLaughlin, son Ralph McLaughlin and Patsy, daughter Diane Gadbois and Steve, son Mark McLaughlin and Tiffany. His mother Ruth Gordon, and sisters Sheila Kelly and Aurthur, Judith Greene and Reginald, brothers Timothy and Sigrid, and Josephine Boisvert. An aunt Jackie Gordon and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Bob was previously deceased by father Stanley R Gordon, brother Stanley A Gordon, and son Donald Boyton and wife Merlene Gordon.-

Funeral service is on Sunday September 24th at 2 pm. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Madison. With a celebration of a life afterwards where Bob grew up in Madison on the River Road, where his family still resides.
