Robert "Nick"  Nicol Miller Jr.

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert "Nick" N. Miller Jr. announces his passing on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at the age of 75.

He was born in Skowhegan, Maine on January 13, 1942 and raised in Gorham and Norridgewock. He graduated from Gorham High School and The University of Southern Maine. He worked for 36 years as the Industrial Arts Teacher at Carrabec High School.

Robert "Nick" will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jill and his children Jotham Miller and his wife Mallie, and Blaine Miller and his wife Melissa. Nick will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Ian, Brody and Seamus, by his brothers Blaine and Jim and his sister-in-laws Sylvia, Cindy and Jean, his cousins Pat and Becky and many nieces and nephews.

Nick was predeceased by his parents Robert and Sylvia and his brother Eben.

Nick was an excellent carpenter and teacher. He enjoyed making maple syrup, gardening and puttering around the house.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations in memory of Nick can be made to the Waterville Humane Society at 100 Webb Road Waterville, Maine 04901.
 

A funeral service in memory of Robert “Nick” Miller Jr. will be held on Saturday, September 02, 2017 at Carrabec High School at 10:00 a.m.
