Alan Hensley Obituary

Alan Craig “Roscoe” Hensley passed unexpectedly at his home on January 14, 2024.

He was born in Cut Bank, Montana on March 25, 1961, a son of Carl and Lorraine (Evenson) Hensley. As a young child he experienced life in different parts of the country, before settling in Maine and attending Upper Kennebec Valley High School. After high school he enlisted in the United States Army. After coming home he took great pride in his work as a welder, as well as acquiring his CDL, among many other things. Through his vast areas of work he was able to meet many different people, making an impact whether it be stopping by for a bite to eat or making the kids laugh. Roscoe had a magnetic energy that could brighten anyone’s day. He was a great part of the Bingham, Moscow Communities, serving both on the fire department and Upper Kennebec Valley Ambulance Service. He was also a member of the American Legion Post in Bingham. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and tinkering in the garage. Roscoe was a kind and loyal man, a great friend of many, and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
