     Beverly (Belanger) Hebert, 91, passed away on September 16, 2024. She was born on January 26, 1933, the daughter of Edo and Belle Belanger.
 

     She attended schools in Madison and graduated in the class of 1951.

     in 1954 she married Norman J. Hebert from Anson. She then followed him throughout his twenty-year career in the Air Force. During those years she worked as a Stenographer for the United Nations in Tokyo and for the Air Force in Spain and Montana. They have three boys born in three different countries (Japan, Canada, and The United States). Her last twenty-two years of work was as Town Clerk and Treasurer of the Town of Madison, Treasurer of Madison Electric and Madison Water District.

 

     She enjoyed, at various times in her life, quilting, fishing, golfing, and tole painting. Her favorite was camping and fishing with her husband and their boys.

 

     She was predeceased by her Husband, her parents, Brother Arnold Belanger, and two infant sisters Phyllis and Arlene.

 

    She is survived by her three sons: David and his wife Jill of New Bern, N.C., Peter and his husband Roger of Jacksonville Fl, and Thomas of Madison with whom she made her home. Seven grandchildren: Tony, Angie, Justin, Matt, T.J, Zack, and Kristina. Twelve great-grandchildren: Thomas, Jaiden, Owen, Ruthie, Greta, Zeke, Shaylee, Edrick, Leo, Nathan, Wally, and Henry. Brother Ronald Belanger and wife Carol, and sister-in-law Ghislaine Belanger. Many Nieces and Nephews, and not to be forgotten, her beautiful and faithful Black Lab Brandi.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday September 26, 2024, at Noon, at the Maine Veterans Cemetery, 143 Blue Star Avenue Augusta.
