Brenda Jean Ledger, 77, of Skowhegan, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Brenda was born in Waterville to Robert and Maxine (Dickey) Boardman. She was raised in Skowhegan and graduated from Skowhegan High School in June 1966. Brenda dedicated more than 40 years to her career at New Balance in Norridgewock, where she was known for her strong work ethic and warm smile.

In her free time, Brenda found joy in scrapbooking, playing cards, and watching her favorite show, Wheel of Fortune. She had a talent for capturing memories and a knack for bringing loved ones together over a friendly card game.

Brenda was predeceased by her beloved parents. She leaves behind her sisters, Deana Dunton and her family of Embden, Debra Aitken and her family of Embden, and Dinah Cayford and her family of Quality, Kentucky. Brenda will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, and dedication to family and friends.

Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
