Catherine Ann Frost

Catherine Anne Frost passed away peacefully on July 16, 2021, at the Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine.

Born in Chisholm, ME February 23,1930, she is the daughter of the late Lillian and Eugene Nadeau and sister of the late Davey E. Nadeau.

With her family, Catherine lived in Jay, Livermore Falls, Portland, and Anson, ME. She is a graduate of the Madison High School Class of 1947 and continued on with nurses training.

Catherine married Robert E. Frost, also of Anson in 1949. They relocated to Darien, CT where they raised their family. Catherine and her husband returned to Naples, Maine in 1970, where for over 40 years she and Robert owned and operated the West Shore Motel along Rte 302. In retirement, Catherine made her home in Cape Neddick, Harrison, and most recently Portland.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Robert E. Frost, and her three children,

Robin E. Frost and his wife Belinda Wee of Maine, Cheryln Frost Gates and her husband John of Maryland, and Kevin R Frost and his wife Carmen Chagas of Massachusetts.

Catherine is the grandmother of Emily Gates Margolis and her husband Seth, Jeremy J. Gates and his wife Jeni Rinner, and the late Jason Robert Frost and great grandmother to 8 children and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Please join Catherine's family for a time of visitation on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 23, 11:00 am at the Giberson Funeral Home, 40 Maple Street, Madison Maine. Burial will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery, 229 Upper Park St. in Madison, ME.
