Charles T. Caplin, 53 of Embden passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at his home in Embden.

Charles was born in Skowhegan January 26, 1970, the son of Thomas Caplin and Geraldine Downs. He was educated in local schools and graduated 1988 in Bingham, Maine. His hobbies were Hunting, Fishing, and hanging out with family and friends.

He was Predeceased by his father Thomas Caplin his grandmother Louise Downs, grandfather Henry Downs, and his uncles James and Eugene Downs.

Charles is survived by his daughter Jami (Caplin) McCoy and her husband Andrew, his grandson Maxx Caplin and granddaughter Lillyanna McCoy of Solon, his mother Geraldine Downs and husband Joseph Jenks, brothers Chad and Paul Caplin, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many many cousins.

A graveside service will be held on September 23, 2023 at 1pm in Pierce Cemetery in Solon, Maine.
