Cora “Boots” Bigelow, 90, of Bingham, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at her home.

Boots was born on February 13, 1933 in Birmingham, Alabama, daughter of Dallas and Lillian (Reed) Wright.

She was employed for almost 50 years as a Certified Medication Aide at Somerset Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bingham. 

She is predeceased by her husband Phillip, her son Larry, two grandsons Phillip and Jamie, a great granddaughter named Sunshine; her two younger sisters, Ruth and Eloise, her younger brother Raymond, and her parents Dallas and Lillian. 

Boots is survived by seven of her children, Lillian, Phillip, Dallas, Stephen, Julie Ann, Jerry, and Jon 'Mack'; nineteen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. 

The family would like to send a special thank you to Frannie and Michelle at hospice, and to Mike for his quick reaction time.

A memorial service in celebration of Boots will be held in the spring at the Nazarene Church in Bingham.
