Courtney Doiron Obituary

Courtney Clara Jean Doiron, 23, of Madison died at home, likely from respiratory complications related to her asthma. Her loss was completely unexpected and the family is in shock and deeply saddened.

Courtney and her twin sister, Kaitlyn, were born in Skowhegan to Jessica (Mushero) Park. The arrival of Jessica’s Lady Bugs, as she proudly called them, was one of the brightest days of her life and the 3 of them were inseparable from the very beginning.

When the girls were nearly 3 years old Richard Park married Jessica and became the dad the girls needed. She graduated from Skowhegan High School in 2020, where she participated in JMG.

As a child Courtney enjoyed spending time with family going camping, swimming in Great Grammy and Papa’s pool, and going on adventures. Courtney’s close relationship with her twin sister Kait was a bond that made them more than sisters, they were best friends. She really enjoyed spending time with her grandmother, Toni, who she fondly called Manny.

Her greatest joy in life was being a mother to her two daughters, Freya, 2 and a half, and Delilah, 10 months. They were her entire world and she spent everyday ensuring they were loved and cared for. Together with her fiancé, Ashton, they took the girls on adventures fishing, apple picking, swimming at the beach, going to the ocean, visiting with animals at various animal parks, and ensuring the girls saw the Halloween and Christmas displays at Elmer's in Canaan.

Courtney is predeceased by her maternal great grandparents, Francis Smith Sr., Ralph Mushero Sr., and Jean Mushero, her great uncle Frank Smith, a cousin Devon Staples, and a nephew Ronan Park.

Courtney is survived by her daughters Freya and Delilah and their dad Ashton Scott. Her parents Jessica and Richard Park Jr., her twin sister Kaitlyn and partner Travis, her sisters Megan Doiron, Erin Park, and brothers, Ashton Proctor and Richard Park III, as well as nephews, Ashton, Liam, and Atticus. She is also survived by her maternal great grandmother Clara Smith, her maternal grandparents Toni Smith and partner Michael Thornton, and Ralph and Laurey Mushero, her paternal grandparents Sharon and Richard Park Sr., an uncle Jeremy Mushero and partner Cheryl, cousins Zain and Hunter Mushero, great uncle Albert and Tracy Smith, great aunt Kathleen Smith. She also leaves behind many other cousins, family and friends, including the family of Ashton Scott. Courtney also shared a special sister-like bond with Claire (Bartlett) Delisle, and was very close to her childhood friend Sasha, and close friends Celeste, Aubrey, and Rowan.

A celebration of life honoring Courtney will be held at the Skowhegan Rec Center on Saturday January 17 from 11-3, light refreshments and a few of her favorite food items will be available for lunch. Please dress casually and come surround her family with all the love you have to share.
