Daniel E. Black, 50, of New Portland passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, following a brief illness.
Daniel was born on January 8, 1969 in Skowhegan, a son of Donald and Ruby (Wooster) Black. He was educated in the local schools.
He was employed for several years as a custodian at Colby College ans also worked a Kennebec Lumber in Solon. He enjoyed game shows, Elvis, traveling and music.
He was predeceased by his father Donald J. Black.
Daniel is survived by his mother, Ruby McMullen, his brother , Donald Black and his partner Doreen Kelly, His sister, Lisa Nelsen and Her husband Jimmy, his nephew , Michael Stewart, nieces, Jessica Stewart, Shen Black and Tsani Black, as well as his uncles, Ernest and Joseph Wooster.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 at ---11:00 AM in East Cemetery, North New Portland.
