Dennis J. Peters, 63, passed away on February 22, 2025, in Madison, Maine. Born on November 5, 1961, in Skowhegan, Maine, Dennis spent his life rooted in the communities of central Maine, where he was known for his generosity, kindness, and unwavering willingness to help others.

He dedicated much of his working life to supporting his brother Jim’s business, contributing his time and skills over many years with loyalty and dedication. Dennis had a passion for mechanics and took great pride in working with his hands. Whether under the hood of a car or lending a hand around the neighborhood, he found joy in fixing things and helping others.

He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoyed camping whenever he could. These moments of peace and simplicity reflected his down-to-earth nature. He also shared a special bond with his dog Buddy, who was a constant companion and source of comfort.

Dennis was the proud father of his son Christopher, with Michelle, the mother of his child. His love for family extended to his brothers—Steve, Billy & Penny, John, Roland and his wife Kelly, and Jim—along with many nieces and nephews who were part of his close-knit circle. His presence will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Mildred (Gordon) and Bill Peters. Their memory remained a guiding presence in Dennis’s life.

May his memory bring comfort to those who were touched by his generous spirit and kind heart. In lieu of flowers we are asking to donate to the animal shelter as he had compassion for animals.
