Diana Atkins

Diana L Atkins, 80 of Madison, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday March 2, 2025 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.  

Diana was born on December 17, 1944 in York, Nebraska A daughter of Augustine Kelly and Helen Mac Gillivray.  She was an avid quilter and crafter.  She loved camping and above all spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

She married the love of her life Thomas W. Atkins Sr. , they had three sons. 

She was predeceased by, her son Gregory”Scott”Atkins. 

Diana is survived by her husband of 61 years, Thomas W. Atkins Sr. of Madison, as well as sons David and wife Lisa of Atkinson, and Thomas Jr. and his wife Karan of Madison and Scott’s Widow Kelly, of Sandown.  7 Grandchildren, Michael and his fiance Kerri, Devon and his fiance Brianna, Tyler and his wife Kathleen, Jarrett, Scotty, Joey and Tamara, as well as 8 Great grandchildren, Jackson, Lillyana, Tanner, Harper, Ashton, Addison and August.  All of New Hampshire. As well as her beloved dogs Sammy, Bandi and Topper. 

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM in St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Main Street Madison.
