Doris Audet

Jackman- Doris L. Audet, 67, of Jackman, passed away on September 25, 2018, at the Harold Alfond Center for Health in Augusta, surrounded by loved ones. She was born September 25, 1951, in Jackman, a daughter of Patrice and Flor (Trepanier) Audet. She was educated in the local schools. She worked as a chef in many of the local area restaurants, she had a real passion for cooking. Doris loved the outdoors, picking berries, or fiddle heads, long drives in the country and enjoying all of the beauty in nature. For all of the many aspects of her life, she should be best remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and good friend.She will be truly missed. In addition to her parents, Doris was predeceased by a brother, Ernest Audet. Her survivors include her two sons, Dominic Turmel Sr. and his wife, Denise, of Kenduskeag, Wade Turmel and his girlfriend, Mandy Morin, of Jackman; three brothers, Yvan Audet, of Holyoke, MA, Lawrence Audet and wife, Mary Lee, of Waterville, Claude Audet and wife, Linda, of Winslow; two sisters, Jeannine Audet and boyfriend, Paul Giroux, of Winslow, Sylvie Audet of Waterville; two grandchildren, Dominic Turmel Jr. and Emma Turmel, of Kenduskeag, as well as many nieces and nephews.
