Elizabeth “Betty” Lightbody

Betty Passed away peacefully in the home her husband walter built for them in North Anson, over seventy two years ago. Betty was a devoted mother, nurturing her own children along with may others over the years. Her door was always open.

She is survived by her loving family, sons and wives who live locally: Larry and Carol, David and Peggy, Roy and Sherry, and daughter Carol and husband Guy Constable, in North Dakota. Betty was “Gram” to twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and eleven great grands.

She loved spending time with her family, and with neighbors who were like family: Betsy, the Keen's, and Ellie. There will be a graveside service at Sunset Cemetery this Summer.
