Emmalyn Aurora Brooks

Emmalyn Aurora Brooks, 8, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 15, 2014, in Augusta, Maine to her mother Angela Brooks.

Emmi was full of life, always dancing, and laughing. Emmi was sweet, sassy, and kind-hearted. Emmi enjoyed the simpler things in life and loved all things sparkly and purple. Emmi believed the most important food group was sugar and that ice cream counted as breakfast.

Emmi offered unconditional love and joy to everyone she encountered. Emmi’s genuine love for everyone no matter who they were was her greatest strength. Even while she was sick Emmi wanted to make sure other sick kids got her toys as “they deserve new toys”. Her regard for others always came first.

Emmi lit up any room with her beautiful smile. She was that little girl that when you met her you knew you wanted to be her friend.

When you remember Emmi remember all things warm and kind. Remember to always enjoy the simpler things in life and to have something sweet with every meal.

Emmi's light will continue to shine through her Mom and her big brothers Aydan and Cameron who were her protectors through and through.

Emmi is survived by her beautiful Mother Angela Brooks, her dad Mike Beaulieu. Her two brothers Cameron, and Aydan Brooks-Emery. Her grandparents are “Mayme” Sheri LaVerdiere and Bryant LaVerdiere, Paul Brooks and his significant other Debbie Rogers. Her special Aunties Lexi and Abbi LaVerdiere. Her uncle Jordan Brooks and her special cousin Madison Brooks, Uncle Brandon LaVerdiere, and his wife Emily and her Uncle Brayden LaVerdiere.  As well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held at Giberson Funeral Home in Madison on Saturday December 10, 2022 form 1-2 pm. A service to celebrate Emmis' life will be held 2pm followed by a reception to share our memories of Emmi.
