Fernande "Francis" J. Dube

     Fernande “Francis” J. Dube, 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 18th, with family by her side.

     Francis was born in Canada where she married her late husband George Dube and started her family before moving to Solon, Maine.

     Francis spent her whole life doing what she truly loved and spending each day like it was her last. Francis could often be found riding three wheelers, four wheelers, and snowmobiles, enjoying the outdoors, and loving her animals. Francis’s pets included Rusty, Toto, Tungsten, Trigger, Pretty Girl, Lover Boy, Road Runner, Jenny, and her best friend who was by her side when she passed, LuLu.

     Francis is survived by her son Michael G. Dube, daughter Sue Ann C. Smith and husband Phillip A. Smith, granddaughters Chelsea E. LeBlanc, Emma L. Smith, Isabelle A. Smith, and great-grandson Baker S. Corson.

     Francis’s family will be holding a small graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery located on the River Road in Solon, Maine on Saturday, October 5th at 11 Am.
