Frances D. Morin passed away peacefully on May 30, 2021 at Mount Saint Joseph's Residence and Rehabilitation Center in Waterville, after a short illness surrounded by her immediate family.
She was born in Jackman on October 27, 1932, the daughter of Alfreda (Doyon) and Alfred Nadeau.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter Morin, and sisters, Pearl Falardeau, Julliete Duquette, Doris Nadeau and brother Teddy Nadeau, all of Jackman.
Frances is survived by her two children, son David Morin of Jackman, daughter Karen Moore and her husband Harald Moore of Moose River, her four grandchildren; Seth Moore and his wife Melissa of Lisbon, Marisa Achey and her husband Rocky of Dennistown, Mandy Morin and her companion Wade Turmel of Jackman, Amy Hegarty and her husband Kerry also of Jackman, Her three great grandsons Hayden Moore, Connor Achey, Liam Achey, sister Mildred Coro, and brother John Nadeau.
Frances was a member of the Ladies of Saint Anne. A mass of christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. At St Faustina Cathoic Church on Friday, June 25, followed by an internment at St. Anthony's Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to the Jackman Regional Health Center ambulance fund.
