Gary Allen Taylor, 73, of Anson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at his home in Anson.
He was born on July 2, 1952, in Farmington, Maine, a son of the late Austin and Justine (Lewis) Taylor. Gary was educated in local schools and worked as a woodsman for most of his life. He was also a skilled auto painter and spent many years working as a logger.
He is survived by his sons, Brandon Taylor and Daniel Taylor; and by his wife, Darlene Taylor. He is also survived by his siblings: Vicki Hillman and her husband Monte of Rathdrum, Idaho; Carol Smith and her husband Robert of Westbrook; Brenda Lovejoy and her partner Rodney Bridges of Westbrook; and Karen Fatz of Skowhegan. Gary enjoyed spending time watching his son and grandson working together in Danny Taylor’s garage. He also cherished time with his dear friends, Harry and Cindy Brown, and Mindy Worthley.
