Geraldine DeRoche

“I have had a wonderful life!”

Geraldine DeRoche died peacefully at the Woodlands Memory Care of Madison, Maine on Sunday, June 11, 2023.  She was 98.  She was born on March 11, 1925 in Oakland, Maine and grew up in Norridgewock. Her parents were Harry and Rosa Marcue. Her siblings were Beverly Dane (Richard), Rose Marie Beaulieu (Franses) and Harry Marcue (Louise.)

Geraldine married Norman DeRoche on June 1, 1947 and they were so very happily married for almost 50 years.  She is survived by her daughter Marie DeRoche and son-in-law Alex Nardone, daughter and son-n-law Kathy and John Nolan and son Norman and daughter-in-law Kathy Bierhoff. She was beloved by all who knew her for her beautiful spirit and gratitude.Her family will be forever grateful for the love, care  and support in her final years from her sister-in-law Louise Marcue, niece Pauline Holt and friend Karen Franzose. And, grateful to the Woodlands and Hospice staff. 

A graveside memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at Saint Sebastian Cemetery in Madison, Maine.
