Irene A. Campbell, 92, of Waterville and formerly of The Forks, went home with the Lord in the early morning of Thursday, February 15, 2018 with her daughter Danielle at her side.
Irene was born on April 24, 1925 in Weston, Maine a daughter of William and Myrtle (Shipley) Mailman. She was educated in the local school. At the age of twenty four she married the love of her life Oscar H. Campbell on May 21, 1949.
She was the ballot clerk of The Forks for many years, a school board member for SAD# 13, past president of the Dead River Extension,former secretary for the West Forks Fish and Game Association. She was also the former treasurer for the Christ Church Congregation in West Forks for seven years..
Irene was predeceased by her husband Oscar H. Campbell and nine of her siblings.
She is survived by her daughter Danielle McKay and her husband Randon of Waterville.
She is also survived by two sisters, Ethel Ennis and her husband Paul, and Hazel Andri as well as a brother Dellie Mailman and his wife Georgia and many nieces and nephews

A Graveside Service will be held in Webster Cemetery in Caratunk in the Spring. Time and date to be announced. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Giberson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Bingham.
