James A. Doyle Jr., 81 of Mercer, passed away on June 13, 2024 at Mount St. Joseph Nursing and Rehabilitation in Waterville.

James was born on January 6, 1943 in Waterville, a son of the late James A. Doyle Sr. and his wife Madeline (Perro) Doyle.

He was employed for many years as a baker at Al's Pizza in Skowhegan. James enjoyed hunting, fishing Fire arms and bow and arrows, he truly enjoyed his years as a Maine Guide.

James is survived by his wife Vivian of 54 years, his son Michael Curtis and his wife Diane and their three children, Aj, Conner and Kaitlyn, all of Wisconsin. He is also survived by his brother Richard P. Doyle, his wife Cheryl of Bethel, nieces Lauren Homer, Rebecca Staffiere, and Amanda Doyle Bouvier of Ma., Uncle Bud Scribber of Clinton and Aunt Ann Winslow of Ma.

A Celebration of his life was held Wednesday June 19, at the Mercer Community Center
