Keith Jann Moore, a.k.a “the Moscow Mule,” passed away peacefully October 18, 2023. With his family, Jann said goodbye to the juju and headed out for the big catch.
Jann was born on February 22, 1967, the son of Keith N. Moore, and Luana R. Clukey.
Jann was the life of the party and someone who turned strangers into friends within minutes of meeting. He had a huge heart and would drop everything to help a friend in need. His warm, relatable, non judgemental charm instantly put you at ease and welcomed you into his life. Jann had a passion for any kind of fishing, enjoyed cooking and hanging out with his friends. Most of all, Jann loved Betsy Luce and his son Hunter Moore. Betsy was the love of his life. She accepted Jann for who he was and loved him unconditionally. Hunter was his proudest accomplishment and greatest gift to the world. Jann would light up everytime he talked about him and loved watching him grow into an amazing man.
If you didn’t know this by now, Jann lived his life the way he wanted. He didn’t care what other people thought, and didn’t pass judgment on how others lived. Jann would kneel to no one and yield to nothing. He did it his way in every sense of the meaning and he did it all while carrying a boulder of a heart. He knew who he was and stayed true to himself until the end. Jann was an addict, and although he tried to quit many times over the years, that life always drew him back in and ultimately led to his death. This is what drugs do, they kill people, maybe not today, not tomorrow but one day, this could be your obituary your family has to write as they wonder if they could have done more to prevent it. Please seek help!
Jann is survived by his love, Betsy Luce, son Hunter Moore, father, Keith N. Moore, mother, Luana R. Clukey, step-father, Ralph E. Clukey, sister, Joana Clukey, sister, Renee Rush and brother-in-law Andre, sister, Christa Johnson and brother-in-law Robert, niece Brandy Flagg, nephews Sinjun and Keenan Belanger, Sarek Paine, Noah Nadeau, Bentley Coolidge-Johnson, and many wonderful Aunts, Uncles, cousins.
Jann is predeceased by his grandparents, Carrol “Tim” and Jean Moore of Moscow, and Jule and Phyllis Quirion of Jackman, his brother, Chandler Moore and his nephew Shane Doyle.
A private family service will be held, with no other service taking place.
We want to thank our community, friends, and family for the overwhelming love and support during this time.
In lieu of everything, spend as much time as you can with the people you love.
