Kenton A. Conroy, 85 of Pleasant Ridge, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 5, 2021 at home.
Kenton was born in Rochester, New York on September 27, 1935 the son of Clinton and Louise (Andrews) Woodard. Brought up in Bingham by his grandparents. Always proud of his huge paper route. After graduating from Bingham High, he enlisted in the United States Army.
He was is employed for some years as a truck driver, later he worked in a local wood mills until retirement.
He married love of his life Carol in 1958 she sadly passed away in the year 2000.
Kenton enjoyed hunting, fishing any outdoor activities and spent many years with his best friend Lucian at Rock Pond enjoying such activities.
He is survived by his 3 daughters ,Pamela Miller and her partner Jay Strickland, Lydia Schook and husband Tomas, and Penny Conroy. He’s also survived by his grandchildren Jacob Baker, Trevor Miller, Eva Walker, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews as well as his sister last living sibling, Paula Philbrick. He also leaves behind his constant faithful companion, Buster.
He was predeceased by his sister Marilyn, brother Merle, sister Lorraine, brother Roger, sister Loretta, brothers Carlton and Dale.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 2 o’clock, Pleasant Ridge cemetery Pastor Nathan Richards officiating.
