Kristen Marie Stewart

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Kristen Marie Stewart of Madison, Maine, who passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the age of 35.

She was born in Waterville on August 3, 1990, the daughter of Michelle Dawn "Stewart" Quirion and Quentin Royce Hardy. She attended local schools and graduated in Waterville in 2015.

Kristen was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, niece, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, and friend. Her greatest joy in life was her son, whom she often described as her reason for living. She was known for her free spirit, her love of adventure, and her appreciation for life’s simple moments. Kristen enjoyed roller coasters, thrill rides, and music—especially rock and roll—which reflected her energetic and vibrant personality.
She could do anything she set her mind to and took pride in caring for her home and family. She remained closely connected to those she treasured most. Her love was fierce and unconditional, and she was definitely a leader, NOT a follower.

She is survived by the light of her life, her son Cameron Stewart; her parents, Michelle Quirion and her husband Wayne, Quentin Hardy and his wife, Kathy, her brothers, Justin, Jayden, and Caleb as well as many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Kristen was predeceased by her grandparents, Clifford and Frances Hardy, as well as Michael and Sheila Stewart.

Arrangements are under the care of Giberson Funeral Home in Madison, Maine.
