Leo Beane

North Anson, ME – Leo C. Beane, 86 of Lexington Township, passed away on February 10, 2025. At home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on November 26, 1938, in Farmington, Maine, to Leon E. Beane and Ruth E. Dyer.

Leo is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Carrie Brooks Beane and his seven daughters Julie, Sandra, Lisa, Stacy, Sara, Jaime and Kristi and their spouses and significant others. He is a grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren with many more to come.

Leo is survived by his four sisters Madeline, Lenora, Sheila and Glennis.

He was predeceased by his sister Glenda Couture and great-grandson Brayden Brewster.

Leo had great friends Bruce Chipman, Elaine Perkins and all his friends in Lexington Township and west carry pond.

Leo was loved by many and he loved many. He will be greatly missed by all.

Service will be held in May at Lexington Township cemetery with a gathering following the service. (weather permitting)
